Organization for Community Development HUMAN, as a continuation of the Italian Humanitarian Organization INTERSOS, has been formed with the aim of providing support to the Kosovo society as a whole and facilitating the process of integrating minority and vulnerable groups into Kosovo society.
The HUMAN organization’s goal is to empower the organizational and operational capacities of local NGOs, and through advocacy and lobbying activities to empower ties among community groups and local government.
HUMAN aims to address the social well-being of communities in Kosovo and abroad. In Kosovo it aims to contribute to intercultural dialogue; working with all communities to improve interaction and co-operation; support existing NGOs and networks for a strong civil society with a particular emphasis on establishing local knowledge and skills; promoting rule of law; facilitating intercultural dialogue as a means for the well-being of all communities; appreciation of cultural and natural heritage as precious and common values.
